Director of Gallaudet Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute (GIEI).
In May 2015, Gallaudet launched the GIEI and since then has hosted a number of business competitions, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence program, and other events to encourage entrepreneurship. Maliszewski, is building the GIEI brand on and off campus and are building relationships with a broad range of area universities/colleges, foundations, corporations, investment funds, government agencies, and other stakeholders to support Gallaudet’s aspiring entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining Gallaudet University as the Executive Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Ryan Maliszewski was an executive strategy and technology advisor for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Science & Technology Branch. He began his career in the Washington, D.C. area in late 2001, working on Capitol Hill with the U.S. Senate as well as the House of Representatives for several years prior to joining Booz Allen Hamilton, a management and technology consulting firm. Since graduating from the University of Arizona in Business Management with concentrations in Organizational Management and Entrepreneurship in 2001, Ryan has owned several small businesses. Ryan enjoys cycling, traveling, craft beer, supporting financial literacy and the Chicago Cubs.
